WHAT IS A FAMILY REPORT?

In a family report, the everyday life of a family is portrayed authentically and genuinely. Your family life is shown as it really is. Loving, fun, beautiful, but also challenging and messy. Reality is captured without glossing over or adding to improve.

THE PHOTOGRAPHER AS OBSERVER

​

The big difference to all the photo shoots that you may have done so far is that I don't intervene in any way. I photograph everything as it happens in real time. I am a pure observer of the situation and document your everyday family life. Nothing is cleared away or made more beautiful, no light is turned on when it is too dark and there is no place in the apartment or house where photos are not taken (if desired). Furthermore, there are no tips for beautiful outfits, no photos where everyone is smiling at the camera, but real moments that depict life. your life and your story.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

​

The special thing about documentary photos is the variable length of the report. For example, I can accompany you on your 4 hour excursion as well as a whole day from waking up until the evening for a bedtime story. The concept of the "One Day in the Life" reportage is relatively new in Germany, mostly you know the lifestyle photography, where the shooting is conducted. I fell in love with the family reportages in 2019 and since then I've been studying them on and on. A "Day in the Life" report lasts between 12-14 hours and in the end you have the best insight into the actual, but also hidden or unnoticed moments in your life that you will never forget or miss.

VACATION

Most holiday escorts last 1 – 3 days. Itake pictures of you every day and also accompany you on your adventures. Pictures from the pool, from the beach, from the mountains, from the cinema or from visiting grandma. Whatever your holiday looks like, I'll be there and happen to have my camera in my hand. New places and departures from routine offer many new perspectives on your family life.
